High-tech psychedelic sorcerers Sun Geman & Altjira join forces once again with the spell-binding ‘Transconceptual Dimensions' EP on Mirror Zone Records. The duo act as your spirit guides as they walk you towards the boundaries of dreamtime ethnic influences and tribalistic movements.
The Dutch producers Sun Geman & Altjira have once again opened the doors to a grand narrative. After their collaboration on the ‘LA1000’ EP on Diffuse Reality Records, the duo continues to showcase unconventional psychedelic rhythms on Spekki Webu’s Mirror Zone imprint. Creating meaning from memory and existence itself, the cavernous landscape created on their second release serves as a manifesto to a new era of growth and discovery throughout time and sound.
A mantra given by the artists states: ‘Veiled knowing to keep and preserve, to guide and grow. We start from our own plot points, Carving the lines, Towards outer time’.
On our premiere pick ‘Nyunga’, the duo effortlessly crosses the boundaries of dreaming and wakefulness as they let tribalistic drum patterns ebb and flow in a rhythmic, cosmic realm. In addition to bewitching voices, playful synthesiser textures entice the listener deep into the sonic abyss.
