A standout moment for Vardae's sound came with the release of the celebrated Kaipos EP last year on OODA, a project co-curated by Forest Drive West and localhost. It showcased an intriguing blend of polyrhythmic techno and ambient, solidifying Vardae's presence in the experimental music scene, from the French extravaganza Positive Education to the castle of Spain's Mostra festival.

Home to Vardae's upcoming record is Konstrukt Records, a label run by Nijmegen-based Yugen, aka Han Frissen. Formerly known as Doka, Han has been an important figure in the deep techno scene in the Netherlands and now continues to shake up the scene by spreading genre-breaking French sounds.

Minimal Collective's premiere track ‘Bad Minds’ embodies the transformation of gloomy atmospheres into a surprisingly comforting and challenging experience. With its ritualistic drums and vocals enchanting the soundsystem, the crowd's feet will inevitably be liberated by Vardae's spell.
