Mama told ya is the label of French DJ and producer, Anetha, designed as a platform for research and experimentation resulting in unique art fusions. Ever evolving, the imprint is focused on exchange and collaboration as a creative engine that’s positioned at the forefront of faster paced, underground club music. MTY​-​AIR, its 12th release and the third in a series of four VA’s, each referencing one of the four elements, adds to a strong catalogue of artists like Schacke and UFO95. Comprising 20 tracks from artists separated by distance, but connected by sonic vision, the release weaves through mind-warping psy explorations, gusts of disturbed techno, and everything in between.

France's Adrien Van de Velde aka A Strange Wedding masterfully closes the release, casting a spell over its listener through an ambient adjacent build up from the outset. Interdimensional stabs fill the body of the track combined with grainy bass elements and various percussive elements dispersed throughout the arrangement to keep the dancefloor engaged. ‘Temples of Quantum (Straight Backward Mix) is crafted for dark clubs and big sound systems, forming a portal to ferry dancers to an all encompassing, transcendent realm.
