While only the label’s second release, Swan Song presents a further development of Aurora’s burgeoning staple for extended projects that combine brooding ambience with frenetic, up-tempo catharsis.

For their latest endeavour they turned to Eyerate, a producer whose stock is rapidly growing for his sharp productions and live sets, as well as Second Born, the label he co-founded alongside Porter Brook. Swan Song, his latest for Aurora, is also well-supported with remixes from luminaries Tamarist, Aa Sudd, Atikka, and Xuri.

As the project’s opener, B+ sets the scene with a foreboding stillness. As a chilling wind surveys the track’s surface, dreamy synths signal a delicate calm that is sharply perforated with precision clicks and cuts.
