Human Space Machine lands on Midgar for the label’s 12th anniversary with Perception Field, a five-track release of crystal-clear productions. Each track has its own character, but all are driven by a singular energy that deepens his signature psychedelic club sound with a light-footed feel.

As co-founder of Amsterdam’s De Lichting and a frequent collaborator across releases and club circuits, Human Space Machine has cultivated his sound across a wide range of settings and systems. The balance of his collaborative approach and technical curiosity guides his path towards releases and live performances in which he moves between techno, house, and experimental electronic music, all while staying true to his recognisable infusion of psychedelic currents.

Berlin-based label Midgar, founded by Jacopo Severitano aka Severja, marks twelve years of building a versatile identity. Since 2014, it has carved out a space for forward-thinking club music that resists easy categorisation, pairing adventurous releases with a wider world of visual storytelling and international showcases. Human Space Machine slots into that space with ease on Perception Field, approaching club music with the same sense of movement, openness, and range.

Minimal Collective’s premiere pick is the slow burner of the energetic five-track sequence. U77 pulls the pace back, building strong tension through a sharp minimalist structure. It’s a mesmerising track that can send any hazy dancefloor into hypnosis.
