Mark Lando lands on Basel-based record label ‘swim’ with the four-track ‘Salk Zone EP’. A multi-layered and mesmerizing project portraying four diverse dance-floor fantasies.
Swim is a loosely knit community from Switzerland focusing on lysergic sounds and practices. For almost five years, they have been rooted in their home base Elysia, harnessing the strength of their communal ties to welcome like-minded souls into their fold. Resident of the legendary Elysia Club and co-pilot of swim, Mark Lando, is one of the main driving forces in building connections with people and creating shared transcendental experiences. With the Salk Zone EP, Lando proposes a voyage through nuanced compositions, each with its own unique dancefloor narrative.
On ‘The Salk Zone’ Lando smoothly raises heat via invigorating kick and bass patterns. Engaging percussions and otherworldly sounds disclose gently, yet take the up-tempo space odyssey to another level.
