The Italian producer experiments with texture throughout, utilising sub-bass pressure and layered polyrhythms to bind the listener in a continually warping flow.
Seta Loto’s penchant for low-end experimentation and precision-engineered flourishes, comes to a head throughout his latest project. ‘Partial Pressure’ drifts through tempos and beat patterns, with a red thread of heady intoxication and twisted hypnotica weaved throughout.
De la… je l'espère has been a driving force of the emergent French deep bass scene, boasting a growing repertoire of half-time sub-bass meditation, frenetic breakbeats and neo-psytrance. The label melds music, with video and scenography and plays a welcoming host to the EP, which features heavyweight remixes from Aerae and Trois-Quarts Taxi System.
‘Annihilation Scape’, the fourth track on the release, is packed with ecstatic elegance. The Italian producer weaves a thicket of high-voltage zaps and flickers, which is laid carefully over an oscillating bassline and a flurry of rolling percussion to instigate a frenetic hypnosis.
