Buenos Aires-based Danzia Natvia has been exploring the deepest nuances of electronic music over the last five years. Headed up by artists; Alderaan, Forest On Stasys and Kyntral, the imprint breaks new ground with its first vinyl release, calling on a syndicate of global producers including Shoal, Luigi Tozzi, and many more sound trailblazers to celebrate the milestone.

Igniting the Various Artist compilation is no other than Anthony Linell. His approach to contemporary techno strips the genre back to its rushing heart, falling perfectly in line with the sound Danza Natvia has shaped over 15 previous releases.

Working under aliases ‘Lundin Oil’ and ‘Ulwhednar’, he navigates the fringes of noise music and brooding, adrenal patterns respectively. Linell also co-heads the Stockholm-based label Northern Electronics, providing a platform for colder, more menacing takes on modern European techno for more than a decade. From his first outings under ‘Abdulla Rashim’ to more recent works casting aliases aside, Linell showcases a robust and rigorous approach to techno.

Premiere pick, ‘Ice Demon’ delves into Linell’s signature, tension-inducing sound, utilising repetition as a tool for mind exploration. Evoking flashbacks of a memorable B2B with Phillipa Pacho at Minimal Collective’s De School takeover last year, Linell’s world of ominous, forward-thinking techno pursues you through the dark.
