Somewhere in upstate New York, ena b. met Cellar Door co-founder and producer Âsan through mutual friends. Some time before their meeting, Âsan had taken part in In Bloom, an educational retreat by Sebastian Mullaert, while ena b. later spent time working closely with Mullaert and the ideas behind it. Built around improvisation, presence and creative flow, In Bloom extends beyond studio technique into meditation, nature and collaborative practice. Though their involvement in In Bloom happened separately, these encounters eventually met on common ground in the shared process behind Dreamscape. ena b. delivers two originals, Âsan returns to Mind, while Mullaert takes Dreamscape in three directions: once under his own name and twice as Wa Wu We, through his Acidification and Forestation mixes.

Minimal Collective premieres Sebastian Mullaert’s take on Dreamscape. Where ena b.’s original is warmer, more melodic and open, Mullaert pushes it deeper into the night.
