From beginning to end, this release glides smoothly along Berlin-based Translantic’s vision of a multifaceted musical ideal. What initially began as an online pirate radio station is today an established label and booking agency with an expansive discography spanning genre and theme. Refusing to be backed into the corner of one homogeneous sound, the label’s outputs especially highlight works of reverent ambience, metal trap, and minimal trance.

A familiar name in the label’s catalogue, nthng pulls forward his sound expertise yet again. Perhaps best known for his ability to musically balance vast celestial dreams with grounded earthly wonderings, ‘There Is A Place For Me’ proves another example of tender creation. From hazy tickling vocals in the opener ‘Unlimited ()’ to ethereal drums in the B2 track ‘Mad World’, each piece stands as its own expression of poetic inquiry. When taken as one cohesive work, the album forms a larger story, one where drawn out rhythms tease apart time and tinged instrumentals paint otherworldly imaginations.

On ‘Wordless Mass’, nthng creates an ominous build of murmured tellings which is gently permeated by delicate undertones hinting at veiled lands not yet reached.
