Lyon-based Everybody Trance Records is a platform driven by a passion for crafting shared psychedelic experiences and pushing exploratory sounds. For its second release, the imprint calls on the bass-heavy, sweat-soaked sounds of its resident DJ, Subsism.

The five tracks of ‘Hadale’ explore hybrid and aquatic sounds, where the first tones of the release explicitly invite you to Subsism’s underwater realm. A sunrise trip in the making, it carefully builds on dense and shifting atmospheres, spiralling variations and adventurous rhythmic patterns. From the liquid ambience presented in the opening track ‘Into Deep’ to the evolving evanescent pads of ‘6am At Sumu’, Subsism charts a path to euphoric, mist-filled moments on the club floor.

Minimal Collective premieres ‘False Ada’ which grinds toward a breakbeat-laden climax with delayed vocal stabs and ‘step-to-it’ kick drums. Kaleidoscopic chimes and swirls oscillate throughout the tracks’ mix, never quite taking centre focus, but doing enough to reinforce the rush of transcendental states.
