AH&N delivers a speed rush quartet of percussive workouts on his upcoming release ‘Ways’, via Monochrome Records. Oscillating in the realms of downtempo and drum and bass, the EP delves into the complex path’s of life through robust low-end synthesis and percussive energy.
Steadily growing out of Lyon, Monochrome Records is a convergence of diverse projects dedicated to celebrating psych-oriented sound and aesthetics. Fresh off its second VA, the label has called on the skills of AH&N to continue on a path where techno and bass music converge.
Fellow Frenchman, AH&N hones in on the beauty of the outdoors and the depths of the human mind through his productions and dj sets. Shifting between moments both tranquil and raw, his approach invites listeners to immerse themselves in the moment, carried by loops of rhythms and textured sounds. Razor-sharp percussion shines throughout the entire Ways EP, as accompanying, far-flung sound design urges the listener to contemplate the hidden forces shaping their journeys.
Minimal Collective premieres B1 track ‘Coercion', a syncopated drum trip filled with synthetic urgency, and designed to mirror one's external pressures.
